Step 1

The below picture shows the tubing identification for a LG 3-way Valve.

The tube to the left with no markings will connect to the Freezer Capillary Tube.

The tube to the right with tape wrapped around it will connect to the Refrigerator Section Capillary Tube.

The tube in the center will connect to the filter drier.

Step 2

3-Way Valve connection to Freezer Capillary Tube:

The freezer cap tube (Almost always the left capillary tube when facing the machine room from the back of the refrigerator) will have baby blue paint on it. This goes to the side of the 3way valve with no tape on it (Normally the left side of the 3-Way Valve).

Step 3

3-Way Valve connection to Refrigerator Capillary Tube:

The refrigerator capillary tube always has tape on it and the tape can be any color, most common is red or blue tape, but we have seen green, yellow, white, etc. This capillary tube with tape always goes to the side of the 3-way valve with tape on it as well, again regardless of tape color.

Simply match Tape to Tape, regardless of color!
