If the lamp is not powering on
Remember the Lamp on most LG model dryers will NOT come on when the door is opened instead while powered on the internal Lamp will need to be turned on at the control panel.
When testing the Lamp circuit remember you will need to turn the lamp on at the control panel. At this time move to the main board (or the lamp itself) and check for 12Vdc.
“If voltage is detected at the Main PCB output, inspect the wiring harness, connectors, and bulb. If no voltage is detected from the Main PCB, the Main PCB or control board may be faulty.”
