Power Cord Replacement
If the power cord is damaged, stop using the product immediately and unplug it from the outlet. Do not use the product again until the power cord has been replaced. Be sure to wear gloves and any other required PPE for your safety. We will now review the repair steps.
Note;
Do Not begin repairs until the power cord is unplugged from the outlet.
1. Confirm the unit is unplugged, then access the Filter Board (example shown is a WM34**). Remove the two screws, then remove the top panel by sliding it toward the rear.
2. After removing the top panel, you can now locate the Filter Board located on the right side of the unit, (standing in front on the unit).
3. Unplug the Power Cord connector from the Filter Board.
4. Remove the ground wire.
5. It will be necessary to release the power cord from the strain relief that is stamped into the washer frame. This can be done by hand or using pliers, twist the power cord until it releases from the stamped stress relief.
6. Replace the Power Cord by reversing the process.
