Mini Cube ICEMAKER ERROR CODES
IC MINI CUBED ICEMAKER MOTOR ERROR
(Example from LRYKC2606)
Check from CON 7 pin17 to pin19 for 12Vdc.
If PCB is sending 12Vdc to the motor the PCB is good.
Disconnect CON 7 and check motor resistance for 17 ~ 20 Ohms. If motor is reading open then replace the mini cubed icemaker.
I0 MINI CUBED ICEMAKER SENSOR ERROR
(Example from LRYKC2606)
Check from CON 7 pin10 to pin13 for Voltage and resistance using the Ice sensor chart below. If the sensor is open or shorted then replace the ice maker. If PCB is not supplying voltage to the sensor then replace the PCB.
FREEZER FAN ERROR
Cause
If FF is displayed The Main board has stopped receiving a feedback signal from the Freezer Fan.
Solution
Check The fan area for heavy ice stopping the fan blade, or other issues that might stall fan. (the issue could be a Defrost issue instead of a fan issue).
Ohms. If motor is reading open then replace the mini cubed icemaker.
ICING FAN ERROR
Cause
If “IF”is displayed the Main PCB has stopped receiving a feedback signal from the Ice Fan.
Solution
Check the fan for movement, (if fan won’t move
without power applied replace fan) or other issues that might stall fan. Check the fan for ice.
