For Icemakers with small holes instead of large buttons like the below example, use a toothpick, paperclip, or similar object to press the cube size selector button for 3-5 seconds or until the icemaker starts to move:
I just looked at one with the small hole but it seemed like there wasn’t actually a button inside the hole. I stuck a fine tip meter probe in there which reached in over a half inch and didn’t feel like it hit a button and the ice maker didn’t react. I’m pretty sure the ice maker is bad but I wasn’t confident I had got it into test mode.
