If your product is not levelled then a little bit of vibration may occur during drying.
Although the product would have been levelled during its installation, it may become unlevelled and generate noise and vibration if you move the product or changes its direction.
Checking the Level
Position the appliance in the final location and place a level across the top of the appliance.
Check rollers for wear and if worn or damaged replace the rollers.
If the unit produces a rhythmic thumping and you have determined the rollers are not the issue, check the tub seam weld. You could have a crack or split in the drum and the seam itself may be too thick, in these cases a drum replacement would be in order.
The Dryer Drum can crack at the weld line causing the described noises.
If the Dryer is making a “slapping” noise, check if any wiring harness need repositioned and secured.
Another potential source of noise on the dryer is the blower assembly.
If the blower wheel is defective and needs replacement, use a 12 mm socket. Note that the blower wheel has reverse threads—turn it clockwise to loosen. Always disconnect power before beginning the repair and use safety equipment.
For noises specific to Gas Dryers
Make sure the distance between the flame holder and the ignitor is approximately 3mm-6mm. If it is not, you may experience noises associated with the unit trying to ignite
Also check that the gas valve (1) is 90Vdc or greater or the valve may make noise trying to open with low voltage.
