Improper laundering of the garment.
This is the most common cause of the damage to clothes and the grill.
Instruct the customer to give attention to proper care instructions from the manufacturer.

Improper laundering is the most common cause of garment damage. It can also lead to unintended scorching on the grill. Instruct the customer to carefully follow the manufacturer’s care instructions to ensure proper maintenance.
The lint filter or the home vent is restricted.

If the lint filter is restricted or has a bad installation, it can cause the scorching issue by causing the temperature at the rear duct grill to rise. Depending on the severity of the restriction the temperatures could rise approximately 20°~40° C (36°~72F°).
The Gas valve/orifice may not have been changed properly in a conversion to Propane.
