Place the unit in test mode and run the drain pump.

Check the drain hose installation.

Check the drain hose for kinks, restrictions, or blockages.

Step 1

Place in Test Mode (Link provided above)

In test mode, does the drain pump come on? If not check for voltage at the pump.

Proper voltage present to the pump should be 24Vdc or 120Vac depending on specific model.

If not, check voltage at the Main board. If still no voltage, replace the Main board.
If proper voltage is present at the Main board, suspect a harness issue. You can test the continuity of the wires to confirm a bad harness.

Older models will have a 120 Volt AC pump motor which reads 10 to 20 ohms on the winding.

Step 2

Make sure the drain hose is no more than 6″ deep in the standoff.

Step 3

Clear any obstructions from the drain hose.
