Vacuum Procedure

R600 Setup 

If you have a dual evaporator model you will need to place the 3 Way Valve in the “Fully Open” position.  

Run your vacuum pump until you are below 500 microns.

The goal is to have your entire system in a vacuum and the gauge set lines.

Isolate the micron gauge, and make sure the reading stays below 1000 microns.

 

Monitor for 10 minutes. If the micron level rises above 1000 you still have non-condensables in the system, if it rises above 2000 microns you have a leak.
