Low Pressure?

After the Pressures have equalized, is the pressure less than….
R134: 40PSI? Or R600: 15PSI?

Keep In Mind...

The room temp and internal temp will affect your equalization pressure. The above numbers (R134:40PSI and R600:15PSI) are based off of a 70 degree room and the unit is not cooling at all, meaning the inside of the refrigerator/freezer sections are also 70 degrees. If the internal temperature is 30 degrees for example then your equalization pressure would be lower than what is listed above. The key to this step is to determine if there is a leak causing a loss of refrigerant which would result in the unit equalizing lower than normal.
