3 Wire Linear COmpressor

Now that you have accurately diagnosed the issue with the sealed system, click the below button for Sealed System Repair Contents:

Typical readings for 3 wire linear compressor

Common to Power = 8Ω~10Ω     100 volts ac ~ 160 volts ac

Common to Save = 12Ω~14.5Ω  140 volts ac ~ 220 volts ac

If either winding reads open from Main PCB con 201 then check the overload protector (O.L.P.) for continuity.

If it has no continuity, it is defective and should be replaced.

If either winding reads out of range on the compressor pins replace compressor.

Amperage on the black common wire should be 1 amp

In test mode 1 the Main PCB will produce at least 80 volts ac or higher

If Main PCB produces less than 80 volts ac replace the Main PCB.
